Dr. Zachary Joos is a board certified ophthalmologist and fellowship trained oculofacial plastic surgeon specializing in eyelid, orbital, lacrimal and facial pastic surgery since 2017. Dr. Joos practices in Kirkland with monthly satellite offices in Ellensburg and Renton. His practice focuses on both reconstructive and cosmetic oculoplastic surgery for patients of all ages.
Originally from Bellevue, WA, Dr. Joos completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Southern California on an academic Dean’s scholarship. He obtained his medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska graduating with honors. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine, followed by an Ophthalmology Residency at the John A. Moran Eye Center at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. Dr. Joos completed two fellowships, the first in advanced anterior segment surgery at the Moran Eye Center where he also served as the Associate Residency Program Director while teaching surgery to residents at the Salt Lake City Veterans Administration. He then completed a fellowship in Oculoplastic, Orbital and Lacrimal surgery at The Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital in Brisbane, Australia. Dr. Joos’ practices in Kirkland with monthly satellite offices in Ellensburg and Renton. His practice focuses on both reconstructive and cosmetic oculoplastic surgery for patients of all ages.
